Merry Xmas!

Well, that's it for 2011.  The site now has EVERYTHING available, I believe:

- Youtube Playlist of all non-full-gig Soundboard performances
- SoundCloud Playlist of all audio only Soundboard performances
- Soundboard Tracker, containing links to all soundboard audio/video downloads
- Live Gigs Tracker, containing links to all audience bootlegs available
- Complete Playlists of all Oasis-Era Noel vocal tracks
- Youtube Playlists of all official videos, remixes, unreleased tracks and misc. rarities

Merry Xmas! See you in January...

TWB.

P.S: If anything's missing, do let me know.

Tuesday 13 December 2011

KROQ (11/12/11)

DVD of KROQ 11/12/11 gig now available (see live gigs/soundboard trackers for links)

Thanks to primus420vids

Live on Conan O Brian (12/12/11)

Now added (AKA...What A Life!) to the YouTube Playlist at the top of the site. Thanks to icebreath!

Sunday 11 December 2011

Harald Schmidt Show (7th Dec)

Added the performance of If I Had A Gun from Harald Schmidt's show to the Youtube PlayList at the top of the site.  Thanks to ice breath for sharing.

Monday 5 December 2011

They keep on coming...

More stuff added:
- 26/11, Madrid: Audio (see live gigs tracker)
- 30/11, Amsterdam: Audio and Pro-shot DVD (see live gigs tracker)
- UNKLE remix of AKA...What A Life! (see YouTube remixes playlist at bottom of site)

My Youtube playlists linked to a few deleted clips.  Replacement clips have now been added.  The BBC gig has been removed from the YouTube playlist as it keeps getting taken down.  There's a link to a download version in the 'live gigs' and 'live soundboard' pages instead now.

I've also removed the links to the 14/11 and 18/11 gigs, as they've been confirmed to be fakes.

Thanks as always to all the recorders/uploaders.

Tuesday 29 November 2011

More new stuff...

The 3 videos from Jools Holland 25/11/11 are now in the YouTube playlist at the top of the site (NOTE: There are 2 versions of AKA...What A Life! from this session - one from the live broadcast on 22/11, the other from the 25/11 broadcast - see the 'live, soundboard material' page for how to spot which one's which).

I've also added links to the Alcatraz 28/11/11 gig - both audio and a pro-shot DVD have surfaced. This is the first time a full pro-shot gig has surfaced, so it's a real treat, spoilt somewhat by the Italian presenters who insist on talking over EVERYTHING. There's two more video broadcasts of gigs in the next week so hopefully one of those will be 'cleaner'.  I'll add them all to the YouTube playlist at the top once people upload them...

Lastly, it has transpired the bootlegs of 14th and 18th November might not be legit (i.e. wrong recordings). I've left the links in the 'live gigs tracker' for now, but keep checking back to see if they're confirmed or not...

Friday 25 November 2011

Noel guide vocal (snippet) for All Around The World

I've discovered yet another oasis-era rarity - an extract of Noel's guide vocal for All Around The World.  See the Noel-sung Oasis Tracks post for the audio:

Like A Rolling Stone

Another oasis-era rarity has come to my attention - Noel performing Bob Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone" at a soundcheck.  See the Noel-sung Oasis Tracks post for the audio:

Noel-Sung Oasis Tracks

Little By Little from Jonathan Ross Show

This has now surfaced from the Australian broadcast of the show. Added to the SoundCloud and YouTube Playlists above. Thanks to link73x for sharing.

Friday 28 October 2011

If I Had A Gun (Amorphous Androgynous Remix)

Noel's been playing this pre-show at the gigs. A recording of it from Edinburgh has surfaced, so I've added it to the Remixes YouTube playlist at the bottom of the site.

Thanks to tommo1888 for sharing.

EDIT: The Manchester version's also surfaced, which is a longer version, so I have replaced this with that one. Thanks to jaq515 for that one.

Site enhancements

You can now search the blog using the google tool, or sign up to our email mailing list to be notified of any new additions to the site.  Both of these features can be accessed at the bottom of the site.

Site Layout Overhaul

You may have noticed I've moved things around a bit.  Soundboard audio/video playlists are now both at the top of the site, and the layout at the bottom's been refined to take up less space with the other video playlists. Hope you'll agree it keeps things tidier and more user-friendly.

New Noel/Oasis rarities added

Added the 5-track pre-oasis Noel demo and his radio snippets of 'Chipper SOB' and 'Goodbye Cruel World' - forgot about those!

If anyone knows anything else that's missing, please do let me know.

See here: http://thewrongbeach.blogspot.com/2011/10/noel-sung-oasis-tracks-studio-and-live.html

Monday 24 October 2011

Noel singing 'To Be Where There's Life'!

Bit off-topic, but I've just discovered a soundcheck version of To Be Where There's Life with Noel on vocals. Added it to the 'Noel-Sung Oasis Tracks' list here:

http://thewrongbeach.blogspot.com/2011/10/noel-sung-oasis-tracks-studio-and-live.html

Have added a video from the Dublin gig to the 'Unreleased Tracks' YouTube playlist at the bottom of the page.

Thanks to wegotittz for uploading.

Other Rarities

For the sake of completeness, I've added one more YouTube Playlist to the bottom of the page which basically contains 'everything else' that's floating around:

Oasis-era Soundchecks/Live:
- Everybody's On The Run
- If I Had A Gun
- Stop The Clocks

Oasis-era Demos:
- Record Machine
- Stop The Clocks

Choir & Strings version of Everybody's On The Run

A compilation of the alt. versions/unreleased snippets etc from the album's DVD documentary.

I think that now means the site has everything there is relating to Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Which is nice.

Unreleased Tracks (snippets)

Have added an extra video to the 'Unreleased Tracks' YouTube playlist at the bottom of the page, to include the snippets from the documentary on the album's DVD.

Remixes

Have added another YouTube playlist at the bottom of the page which includes the remixes available so far:
- Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me (UNKLE)
- If I Had A Gun (Amorphous Androgynous, snippet)
- The Death Of You And Me (Amorphous Androgynous, 2 snippets)

Jonathan Ross Show (22/10/11)

Added the first full-band live UK performance from last night to Soundcloud and YouTube playlists.  Enjoy!

Thanks to birchy and mono.

YouTube Playlist moved to top section of site

The title says it all really. I've moved the YouTube Playlist of all the live videos available to the top of the site, for easy access.

Worst. Blog. Post. Ever.

Canal+ 20/10/11

First full band performance - at last!  Versions of If I Had A Gun and The Death of You and Me in the SoundCloud at the top, and the YouTube playlist at the bottom. Huge thanks to Icebreath22g4 for sharing.

Virgin Italia (25/9) and Radio 105 (29/9)

I've had confirmation that these two sessions ARE the same, albeit the Virgin Italia video source is higher quality. So, have removed the Radio 105 source from the SoundCloud playlist (except for TDOYAM which has yet to appear from the Virgin source).

Monday 17 October 2011

Radio Monte Carlo (25/9/11)

A new session's surfaced - huge thanks to frjdoasis. Audio in the SoundCloud at the top, video in the playlist at the bottom.

Virgin Italia (25/9/11)

Added the video of 'Wonderwall' from this session to the video playlist at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: I'm pretty sure this session is the same as the one on 29/9/11 - if anyone can confirm, that'd be really helpful.

Saturday 15 October 2011

Skavlan (14/10/11)

First 'full band' live version of The Death Of You And Me. Sort of... the vocal is live, but the band is a backing track! Video added to the YouTube Playlist at the bottom of the site. Audio NOT added to the SoundCloud playlist, as SoundCloud recognised the backing track as "copyrighted" material.

Thanks to beadyeyeblues

Thursday 13 October 2011

BBC Radio 2 (12/10/11)

Two new tracks added to the SoundCloud at the top of the page - If I Had A Gun and Half The World Away.

Thanks to eva!

Saturday 8 October 2011

Virgin Italia (25/9/11)

If I Had A Gun from this session has now surfaced, and been added to the SoundCloud playlist at the top of the page.  If the other tracks from that session turn up, please do let me know.

Thanks to frjdoasis for this.

Live and Official Videos Updated

The live videos playlist at the bottom of the page has now been updated to include:
If I Had A Gun (Eins Live)
AKA...What A Life! (Eins Live)
If I Had A Gun (RTL)
AKA...What A Life! (RTL)
Supersonic (RTL)
If I Had A Gun (Virgin Italia)
AKA...What A Life! (Radio DeeJay)

The official video playlist has had the AKA...What A Life! video added to it, so all three videos now play out in chronological order (in terms of the story in the videos).

Friday 30 September 2011

Radio 105 29/9/11 Audio

The live stuff from Italy keeps flooding in!  Finally we get a live version of The Death of You and Me, plus a performance of Wonderwall, and another performance of If I Had A Gun.  All the audio's in the SoundCloud playlist at the top of the page.  Huge thanks to mmario for sharing this.

Monday 26 September 2011

Radio DeeJay 26/9/11 Audio

Another live performance of AKA... What A Life! added to SoundCloud. Huge thanks to plitzken for this one.

Higher Quality 25/9/11 Audio

Uploaded to SoundCloud - huge thanks to shakeyourragdoll.

Also, the SoundCloud app at the top of the page will now list the tracks in reverse chronological order, so the most recent tracks are always at the top.

If I Had A Gun - Official Video

Now added to the 'official releases' youtube playlist at the bottom of the page. Exciting!

EDIT: It appears the IIHAD video precedes the TDOYAM video as the former ends in the location of the beginning of the latter.  Ooooooh.... (sequence of the youtube playlist amended to reflect this)
